For all of you who have enjoyed my prints for the past 12 years and for the countless organizations and charities that I have donated prints to for worthy causes:  I have been blessed to have a rewarding career in this city of Hamilton that I love.  I have never needed anything before this and even now this is not for me, but for the man that I love...
 

After having a colonoscopy misread in 2006, and being misdiagnosed for the past year my love Lennie has just been diagnosed with invasive rectal cancer that is spreading.  As some of you may know from my blog, he is the man that I met in Hawai'i and have been with for the past year and a half.  He is American.  He has no health insurance due to the exorbitant cost while he was raising his daughters.  We have been told that conventional treatment of radiation, chemo and surgery will take 5 - 9 months at a cost of anywhere from $200,000 Canadian to $500,000 in the US.  At this writing we have opted to go to one of the Cancer Clinics in either Mexico or Germany for alternate treatment.  Unfortunately all of the clinics want the money up front and we are still facing staggering amounts.
